The Welcome Screen is the landing page your responders first see when opening the link to your survey. Use this screen to say hello and give them context on the questions you are about to ask them. 


Use the following steps to build this example Welcome Screen.

Note: Your work is saved automatically as you work through the steps, so don’t fret looking for a save button.

  1. To create the Welcome Screen: From the Survey Home Page click the Welcome Screen icon at the bottom left-hand side of the page.

  1. To update your Welcome Screen title: On the Smart Form image click on the words “Survey Title”.

3. To type out your title: On the left-hand side, below ENTER YOUR TEXT, type your title. Note: As you type you will see a number to your right that is the number of characters remaining. Your title needs to be less than 90 characters, and the editor will enforce this limit.

4. To edit your Welcome Screen description: On the Smart Form image click the words “Survey Description”.

5. To type out your description: On the left-hand side, below ENTER YOUR TEXT, type your description. Note: As you type you will see a number to your right that is the number of characters remaining. Your description needs to be less than 90 characters, and the editor will enforce this limit.

6. To edit your Welcome Screen button: On the Smart Form image click the on the word “BEGIN”.

7. To change the text for the button: On the left-hand side, below ENTER YOUR TEXT, type your text for your button. Note: As you type you will see a number to your right that is the number of characters remaining. The button needs to be less than 9 characters, and the editor will enforce this limit.
